Week January 27 - 31

** To help develop responsibility, time management skills and prepare for future academic challenges, students will be given one week's grace after original due dates to hand in completed assignments.  Special accommodations for assignments having to be handed in past the one-week grace period will be given in the case of illness and holidays.


SCIENCE:
    • Mon., Feb. 3 - Last day to hand in the completed Golf Ball Bridge project (Original due date was Jan. 24)
    • Mon., Feb. 3 - Last day to hand in the completed Mass VS Weight assignment (Original due date was Jan. 27)
    • Mon., Feb. 3 - Completing L5 How Structures Fail notes

    MATH:

    RECOMMENDED DAILY MATH PRACTICE:
    Basic math facts are to math what the ABCs are to reading & writing.  Being able to quickly know and apply these facts, or tools, will make learning the concepts being taught in grade 7 a lot easier to focus on and learn.  Just like learning an instrument or how to perform a particular skill in your favourite sport, improving in math takes practice and patience but is well worth the effort!

    DATES TO REMEMBER:
