• Up-coming Field -Trip:   All grade 7 students will be attending a National Geographic Live presentation on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at the Arts Commons (205 - 8 Ave, SE, Calgary, AB). The cost for this field trip is $18.00 which covers the costs for the presentation and transportation. Payment can be made online through MyCbe/PowerSchool Parent Account or by including cash or cheque made payable to Willow Park School.  Busses will leave at 9:15 AM and the actual presentation begins at 10:15 AM. RECOMMENDED DAILY MATH PRACTICE:

Basic math facts are to math what the ABCs are to reading & writing.  Being able to quickly know and apply these facts, or tools, will make learning the concepts being taught in grade 7 a lot easier to focus on and learn.  Just like learning an instrument or how to perform a particular skill in your favourite sport, improving in math takes practice and patience but is well worth the effort!
