SCIENCE:

• Textbook, Unit 2:  Plants & Fibres - Topic 1 - 3,  Topic 4 - 6 ,   Unit 2 Vocabulary .  Unit 2 - I CAN Statements
• Mon., Apr. 29 - Due:  An old, clear CD Case for growing a bean plant.  (visit a thrift store, Goodwill, Value Village...)  We will be planting our green beans in our CD cases.   Completing shared ideas from Different Uses of Plants group activity (from last class).  Completing Parts of a Flower Diagram labels (p. 122 textbook) and colouring and attaching in visual journal.
• Tues., Apr. 30 - Due:  Completed Parts of a Flower Diagram.   Completing Quick Challenge:  Different Roles of Plants (Topic 1) . Make a copy and include your name and class in the title.  Homework if not finished.
• Wed., May 1 - Due:  Quick Challenge:  Different Roles of Plants . Starting Unit 2, Pamphlet 1: Plant Structures, Adaptations & Soil.  Vocabulary Terms.
• Thurs., May 2 - Completing Unit 2, Pamphlet 1
• Fri., May 3 - Completing Flowers & Reproduction Handout, Correcting Flower Diagram Labels
• Mon., May 6 - Planting CD Beans!  Completing Parts of a Plant Handout.  Plant Reproduction Powerpoint and Notes.
• Tues., May 7 - Due:  Unit 2, Pamphlet 1:  Plant Structures, Adaptations & Soil.   Plant Reproduction Powerpoint and Notes.

• Mon., Apr. 29 - (7-3 Only) Due:  Practice from Friday (9.1 in the textbook).   First, completing Math Dictionary Notes on Adding Integers - Using Number Lines.  Second, completing a Modelling Integers Activity - Adding integers using number lines (in visual journal).  Third, completing practice (on lined paper in binder) from 9.2, Pp. 320 - 321, #5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18 (and extended?). 
• Mon., Apr. 29 - (7-4 Only) - First, completing Math Dictionary Notes on Adding Integers - Using Integer Chips. Second, completing a Modelling Integers Activity - Adding integers using integer chips (in visual journal).  Third, completing practice (on lined paper in binder) from 9.1, Pp. 313 - 315, #6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15 (& extended?)

• Tues., Apr. 30 - (7-3 Only) Due:  Practice from Monday (9.2 in the textbook).  First, completing Math Dictionary Notes on Subtracting Integers - Using Integer Chips.  Second, completing a Modelling Integers Activity - Subtracting integers using integer chips (in visual journal).  Third, completing practice (on lined paper in binder) from 9.3, Pp. 327 - 329, #5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15.

• Wed., May 1 - (7-4 Only) - Due:  Practice from Tuesday (9.2 in the textbook).  First, completing Math Dictionary Notes on Subtracting Integers - Using Integer Chips.  Second, completing a Modelling Integers Activity - Subtracting integers using integer chips (in visual journal).  Third, completing practice from 9.3, Pp. 327 - 329, #5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15.   

• Thurs., May 2 - (7-3 Only) -Catch Up Class - Reviewing math dictionary notes, modelling activities, and completing all assigned textbook practice.  All practice will be due Monday.  Students who are finished all work etc. are working on the Integer Art Assignment.
• Thurs., May 2  - (7-4 Only) Catch up Class - Students must finish all assigned work from Friday to Tuesday.  Once finished, students can work on the Integer Art assignment . Example.

• Fri., May 3 -  (7-4 Only) -  First, completing Math Dictionary Notes on Subtracting Integers - Using Number Lines.  Second, completing a Modelling Integers Activity - Subtracting Integers Using Number Lines (in visual journal).  Thirdly, completing practice (on lined paper in binder) from 9.4, Pp. 333 - 335, #6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17.   

• Mon., May 6 - Due:  All Textbook practice from Monday to Friday.      (7-3 Only) First, completing Math Dictionary Notes on Subtracting Integers - Using Number Lines.  Second, completing a Modelling Integers Activity - Subtracting Integers Using Number Lines (in visual journal).  Third, completing practice (on lined paper in binder) from 9.4, Pp. 333 - 335, #6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17. 
• Tues., May 7 - Review with Kahoot
• Wed., May 8 - Chapter 9 Test:  Integers
